-Calendar of upcoming dates- I have added a yearly calendar to the mentor documents section on the sidebar. Please review it for all important upcoming dates.
-Ambassador Competition Campaign Managers- This will mark the beginning of the Ambassador competition at Center. Throughout the process each of the three chosen finalists will need support from an assigned “Campaign Manager.” If you are interested in providing your guidance and expertise as a campaign manager please email me.
-Technical Assistance Training Follow-up-Great job last week during our Technical Assistance Training on scholar motivation. I hope the session sparked some creative thinking and was the beginning of new ideas to come. I will be posting all of the notes from that session next week. You can look for them on the sidebar under mentor documents. I’ll also include a link for a quick survey evaluating the training, please take a moment to complete it when you have a chance.
-Housekeeping-Please assist staff in managing scholar behavior during Community Meeting and Gathering Time. If we are going to continue to cultivate a positive culture at Center, it is important for all of us to be engaged during this time.

ReplyDeleteI encourage you to consider supporting one of your scholars as a campaign manager. I served as Hakeem Bello's campaign manager last year and it was a lot of fun. There was a bit of hard work involved with helping him make campaign giveaways, speech writing and delivering but it was well worth it. We had a blast!
