Happy November everyone! It was so nice to see us wrap up October with some fun activities and mentors and scholars starting to really get to know each other. As we start a new month remember to take the time to get to know your scholars, and always push them above and beyond expectations.
Announcements:
Community Meeting: Please make sure you are fully participating in Community meeting.
Cleaning up: Mentors please remember to clean up with your scholars before you transition the next activity. This way we have less cleaning at the end of the time night.
Absent: Thank you to all the mentors who let me know in advance. Try to remember to shoot me an email if you know you are going to miss center. It’s always great if you email your scholars, or tell them the week before.
Geography Challenge: We have an impressive 22 scholars signed up for “The Geo Challenge” This is a great supplemental activity to pull into mentoring. Scholars that are not competing are still into learning about geography.
