Mentor Updates for May 13, 2009

Mentor updates:

Mentor 360’s:Mentors, you should be receiving an e-mail prompt about mentor 360's by Friday. Please complete a 360 evaluation for each of your assigned scholars as soon as you possibly can. This information is very valuable to Higher Achievement and to all of the teachers that will be interacting with the scholars over the summer.

Ms. Chrissie: had a baby boy this past week and the new family arrived home safely this past Saturday. Woo Hoo!! a new member of the Ward 6 family Congratulations Ms. Chrissie & Mr. Dan

Reflection: Now that you have had time to wind down I look forward to receiving mentor reflections from all of you. The mentor reflections will be valuable tools for new mentors and current mentors. Please share all that you have learned from your experiences with us by e-mailing your reflection to me. Thank you.

Center Outing: We are currently working to identify a date for our Center outing. I’ll keep you in the loop, just know that you are encouraged to attend if you wish to attend.

Following the Blog: I’ll be sending you notices on pertinent issues as they arise, however updates like these will be posted only on the blog after today. I want mentors, especially returners, to begin making the transition to communicate more through the blog as of today. You can follow the blog by clicking the follow button near the bottom of the sidebar. Next, choose the appropriate web service you currently use (yahoo, Google, or AIM) sign in using your login and password and that’s it. This will allow the updates to be sent automatically to your Google or yahoo reader/homepage.

Lastly, I know some of you will not be returning next year and probably do not wish to receive continued e-mails. Feel free to let me know to remove you from e-mails that pertain to summer and beyond.
