Week in Review for February 6, 2009

Each week at Center is another opportunity for me to learn from all of you. This week, I learned that mentors are the leading motivation behind scholar entries into our Literary Love Poem Competition. You don’t simply ask scholars to write poems, or encourage them. It’s your ability to challenge and support your scholars through this process that makes all the difference. This delicate balance of challenging and supporting scholars is at the heart of Higher Achievement and the forefront of mentoring. You push our scholars to go beyond and for this we all say thank you. I hope all of you reap the benefits of your hard work by joining us at our Literary Love Poem Competition.
