Just to review..Center has been closed.
I hope you have had fun during your Snow-cation from Center. It has been a snowy week and I hope everyone is safe and warm. We will start back next Tuesday! I can’t wait to see everyone.

Announcements

No Center Monday:
Due to the holiday Center will be closed on Monday February 15th.

Regional Literary Love Poetry Contest has been Rescheduled!

The 2010 Regional Literary Love Poetry Contest will take place on Wednesday, February 17th in The Family Theatre at The John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts (2700 F St NW, Washington D.C 20566). Doors open at 7:00pm and the poetry performances start at 7:30pm. If you’d like to RSVP please contact Cara Leidy at 202.375.7709 or cleidy@higherachievement.org.

This year’s representatives from the Ward 6 Achievement Center are:

Jerome Parks, performing his poem “Brothers”
Noelle Edwards, performing her poem, “Ode Tew Tha Ambitious South Side”

This will be an event you will not want to miss so come out and support the Ward 6 Scholars and Achievement Center!
