Week in Review
The Ward 6 Literary Love Poetry Contest was a success! Thank you to all of the Mentors who assisted Scholars with their poems for the competition and extra kudos to all of the Mentors who were able to attend the event. We had a great show of support from Mentors, Scholars, families, and friends. A special thanks to the mentors who performed!
Also, thank you to all of the Mentors who have completed their session feedback—it’s coming in waves. Keep up the great work and please read below to see what we have in store for the upcoming week.
Announcements
Mentor of the Week
Ms. Megan mentors twice a week with us. She works marvelously with our scholars, always supporting them and pushing them to reach higher. This past week she had her scholars read personal essays during gathering time, a fine example of how Ms. Megan goes above and beyond to support, motivate and develop scholars.
