Week in Review:
John Mayer says he is “waiting on the world to change.” I say “Why wait?” As mentors you are not waiting, you are going ahead and making change happen. Let us look back to that very first day of Center in the fall, at the excitement and anticipation you had about meeting your scholars. Over the past Academy you have changed scholar’s lives, or maybe they have simply changed yours. I hope you can see the impact you have had this year, and appreciate the importance of your commitment.
Announcements:
-End of the year Happy Hour- Please let me know if you are interested in having an end of the year Happy Hour for ward 6 mentors. I would love for some mentors to plan this event. So please let me know if you are interested.
-Mentor 360’s- At the conclusion of After School Academy, mentors are required to complete a Higher Achievement 360 form assessing the growth of their scholars. This year the form will be completed online. You should receive an e-mail notifying you that this assessment is ready for you to complete. You can also login to ISIS and complete the form by clicking on the link for 360 survey. Please be prepared to complete this form in the next week.
-Confirm your Spot- Mentors, please be sure to complete your electronic Confirm Your Spot for next year. Know that you have contributed so much to our culture and I appreciate you all. I hope that you all choose to return next year as I know it will be even better. Remember that if you want to be re-matched with your scholars you need to select the correct grade. So 5th grade mentors should choose 6th grade, and so on.
-Housekeeping:
Please remember to be on time to Gathering Time, we start promptly at 7:45pm.
