Week in Review:
What a difference a break makes! Even though this is our second week back, scholars, mentors, and staff returned to Center energized and engaged! I can truly say that I went home each night very pleased. Also, in speaking with you, I was happy to hear that you all felt a lot better about this week than you have about previous weeks. Let’s keep this momentum going through the end of After School Academy!

Starting next Thursday with The Campaign Kick Off we will be in full Ambassador Mode. Starting Monday April 26th Community Meeting will be all about The Ambassador Campaign, Mentors will be voting every night of the week. I’d like to extend a huge thanks to all the mentors who have volunteered to help scholars with their campaigns and who have given me suggestions for fun and interesting activities to do. The ambassador finalists are 6th graders Mecca and Stefan and 5th graders Sydney and Johnnie. If these scholars are in your group, please ask them about their campaign and see if they need your help.
